چکیده

Lansium parasiticum (Osbeck) or its synonym Epicharis parasitica is from the Meliaceae family and has traditionally been used for various medical applications. This study aimed to determine the total phenolic content, flavonoid antioxidant activity of different duku extracts. A four solvents, 50% ethanol, 100% aqueous, acetone, chloroform, were extract flesh. The content was determined using Folin-Ciocaltealuminumminium chloride colorimetric method. DPPH ABTS method evaluated activity. result showed that ethanol presented highest extraction yield, 10.81% ± 0.004. It also revealed aqueous exhibited amount 152.910 mg GAE/100 g 22.143, 1669.723 370.091 QE/100 g, 68.51 % 2.730 6.063 U/ml 0.721 compared other correlation between (r = 0.719, p 0.029) a statistically significant result. Therefore, extracts this fruit have promising potential as cheap sources future natural agents in food industry. Researchers will further these results in-vitro in-vivo biological studies.

In this study, in vitro antioxidant activity, total phenolic content and concentration of flavonoids of five different extracts, from the whole herb of Marrubium peregrinum L. (Lamiaceae) were determined using spectrophotometric methods. Antioxidant activity of extracts were expressed as percentage of DPPH radicals inhibition and IC50 values (μg/ml). Values in percentage ranged from 27.26 to 89...
متن کاملPhenolic Compounds of Wheat. Their Content, Antioxidant Capacity and Bioaccessibility
The importance of wheat has mainly been attributed to its ability to be ground into flour and semolina that form the basic ingredients of bread and pasta, respectively, while bran is mainly used for animal feeding. However, many epidemiological studies have demonstrated that health beneficial effects of whole wheat were attributed to the bioactive factors in bran and aleurone, such as non-diges...
